Windsor Airlift are an American ambient post-rock band formed in the fall of 2002 in Owatonna, Minnesota. Originally the band consisted of brothers Andy and Tony Johnson and Adam Young. Initially a punk-pop band the trio self-issued their debut release 'The Basement Ep' in 2003. Subsequently the band abandoned nearly every aspect of punk-pop as they began writing music influenced by acts such as Unwed Sailor. 'Selections For A Fallen Soldier' followed, with a second volume released in 2004.
